Job Description:

We are seeking a part time inside sales assistant to support the sales efforts of the outside salesforce as of 06/01/22

After an in-office training, you can work either 5 days with 5 hours each day or 4 days with and split the hours 3x6 + 1x7 hours. You can work every day in the office or at least 1 day per week in the office and the other days from home.

As an inside sales assistant, you will be responsible for lead generation through internet research, cold calling and setting up appointments for the outside sales team.

This position will work independently to qualify leads and do cold calls over the phone to generate new business, to book appointments for virtual and in person meetings, to plan complete sales trips, to work on pricing and quotes for our customers. As the individual in this role grows and learns the business, this position can turn into a Coordinator and the individual might join the sales force on sales calls with the goal of expanding the role even further.


Responsibilities

  • Cold-calling to qualify sales leads
  • Cold-calling to set up sales appointments, planning and coordinating of complete sales trips for the outside sales people cross the United States
  • Data entry into CRM system and updating Excel Spreadsheets on ONE Drive
  • Gathering data and actively listening to prospective new clients by using consultative methods to fully understand their business, uncover their problems, and identify impact areas
  • Handling pricing and quotation queries

  • To qualify for the administrative sales assistant, you must have a strong ability to initiate, establish, and nurture meaningful business relationships over the phone.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of activity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively in a results-driven culture
  • Flexible with ability to adapt to change in a highly dynamic work environment
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication, presentation and time management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Office and Power Point
  • Have a solid understanding of the international trade industry
  • Solid understanding of world geography

Required Education and Experience:

  • Energetic and high-quality team player with outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Understanding of computer networking, and computer peripheral products in network environments is a plus
  • Proficiency with MS Office, MS Outlook, PowerPoint, CRM experience preferred
