Renowned for their exceptional solutions and services, our client's Power Protection business area boasts international references and technical market leadership in niche products.

About the Role:
In light of their solid growth in European markets, our client is strategically focused on fortifying their presence in core growth markets, particularly North America and the Middle East. As the Customer Account Manager for North America, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and acquisition of key accounts and distributors. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in sales and business development to establish our client as a dominant player in the North American market.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and acquire key accounts and distributors in North America for power protection solutions.
  • Acquire new customers and conduct sales negotiations.
  • Develop and implement sales plans based on forecasts, monitoring turnover and sales development, and implementing corrective measures as needed.
  • Define and apply appropriate sales and marketing measures in collaboration with sales management.
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies and oversee their implementation in the market.
  • Act as the main contact and interface for customers to solve technical, commercial, and logistical problems.
  • Support the development of customer-specific solutions.
  • Prepare and document market forecasts and competitive information to derive business and sales strategies.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience and a track record in sales positions and/or business development.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in relevant industries and positions.
  • Education in electrical engineering or a comparable technical field, or proven experience in the field.
  • Experience in customer acquisition and business development in North America, particularly in industries such as power generation, distribution, or related fields.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills, high customer orientation, and a sense of responsibility.
  • Decisive, target-oriented, with a 'can-do' attitude and a performance mindset.
  • Experience working with Microsoft 365 and CRM systems.
  • Willingness to travel.
