InfraTec GmbH was founded 1991 in Dresden / Germany and remains the headquarters for worldwide distribution. The privately held company has two business units - one manufactures and markets infrared components (pyroelectric detectors) and the other one infrared cameras. We operate in the B2B wholesale market with industrial applications. After 30 years in business the number of permanent employees worldwide now exceeds 250. We have been operating a small but successful U.S. subsidiary since 2007 to manage the sales activities in the North American market. Starting as soon as possible, we are looking for a versatile and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Administrative (Office) Assistant and Inside Sales Representative to assist with sales and administrative work to support the sales efforts of the US subsidiary. This position requires a candidate who can seamlessly switch between administrative tasks, provide outstanding customer service, and contribute to sales efforts. The ideal candidate will be self-organized, customer focused, possess excellent communication skills, works with little supervision and is available 30 - 40 hours per week, working from home within the Houston (TX) area. The candidate should be willing to undergo a job training at InfraTec’s headquarters in Dresden, Germany for approximately 3 weeks.
