Position: Dynamic Sales position for recently established German US entity

About Harms + Wende: We are a 75 years young company group based in Hamburg, Germany with focus on power sources, timers and systems in resistance welding from alternating current (AC) to capacitor discharge, medium- to high frequency.

Your position: Open position covering sales, marketing, and service with background for resistance and welding at our new US entity with option for branch management.

Requirements:

  • Further development of current market position. Well-developed customers currently exist. Find new customers, bind current customers to brand.
  • Willing to establish and manage our new entity with backup of experienced staff.
  • Experience or education in the field of electrical engineering / mechanical engineering - Help to establish a second branch office in the southwest or northeast depending on localization of the headquarters. - Networking though local organizations, e.g. AWS, RWMA
  • LinkedIn profiling frequently for the company.
  • Sales process from quoting through order confirmations, invoicing, payments, close and follow up.
  • Visit nationwide conferences with tabletop presentations.
  • Report back to German headquarters on regular basis.
  • Commissioning of equipment as agreed with customers.
  • Handling of service cases backed up from German headquarters.
  • Perform active and independent work from German headquarters due to time difference.
  • Negotiations with customers.
  • Nationwide traveling.
  • Open minded to bridge intercultural differences between USA and Germany.
  • Develop a company in a vibrant marketplace with customers from different industry segments.
  • Acquisition of new customers (growing the market share).
  • Valid driver’s license required.
