RIKUTEC America is part of the RIKUTEC Group, an innovative and internationally oriented group of companies in the field of blow molding technology. The RIKUTEC Group produces with specially designed blow molding machines and is headquartered in Germany. RIKUTEC America is providing customers in the U.S. with Industrial Packaging solutions, including high-quality storage and transport containers, primarily for the chemical sector. We are seeking a hands-on, entrepreneurial Sales Engineer for our accessory division. The primary focus of this position is to acquire prospects to generate new business opportunities for our accessories in the U.S. market. The Sales Engineer is responsible for managing current business and relationships as well as developing plans and strategies for sales growth. This opportunity offers substantial scope for professional growth within a successful, worldwide-operating company. Graduates at the beginning of their career are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:
  • Understand the company’s products and industry specific certifications and regulations (DOT, UN)
  • Develop long-term relationships with customers and acquire prospects to generate new business opportunities for continuous growth for our accessory business
  • Directing and coordinating all sales activities for accessories
  • Set sales goals, compare performance to goals, and adjust goals as needed
  • Perform product presentations at customer site
  • Support customer projects and maintain high level of customer satisfaction
  • Tracking and analyzing sales statistics based on key quantitative metrics
  • Develop excellent market knowledge and understand industry trends
  • Maintain strategic relationships with vendors
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecast
  • Represent the company at national trade fairs, conferences, and industry events
  • Other duties as assigned by the President
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Engineering or Business discipline is required; candidates must display a high degree of technical aptitude
  • B2B sales experience with a technical background
  • Experience in the chemical Semiconductor Industry is of advantage
  • Enthusiasm for new ideas and technologies and a commitment to RIKUTEC’s product portfolio
  • Ability to set sales targets and achieve them effectively
  • Strong analytical skills to identify trends and sales patterns
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to efficiently and reliably prioritize tasks across a variety of projects
  • Works well in a team and independently
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • Knowledge of ERP system, specifically Sage 300 preferred, but not mandatory
  • Candidates must be available for frequent travel across the U.S.
  • Knowledge of German would be of value but is not required
  • Willingness to spend time training in Germany
