As Manager of Finance and HR of this leading, international signaling device company, your primary objective will be to assume responsibility for ensuring the goal and proper functional performance in all commercial areas, particularly in the areas of finance and accounting, controlling, human resources, order processing and IT. You are responsible for establishing an organization in the commercial area which ensures a consistent, effective and efficient performance of all commercial functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Process employee payroll timely and accurately, including monitoring and regulating salary adjustments, reporting absentee time and distributing payroll checks to employees
  • Manage employee benefits including tracking of absentee time, assisting employees with benefit questions, coordinating open enrollment periods for benefits and completing all required reporting for insurance and 401k plans
  • Manage the accounts payable process by timely processing of invoices from vendors. This includes verifying the accuracy of the receiving process, investigating any discrepancies, obtaining necessary approvals, preparation of weekly check run and mailing of payment checks
  • Complete timely and accurate account reconciliations for prepaid and accrual accounts including investigating discrepancies
  • Assist with employee searches by organizing incoming resumes, coordinating candidate online tests and preparing employee offer letters in cooperation with the hiring manager
  • Review and complete all HR documents with new employees including review of policies and procedures
  • Administration of company cell phone plans including ordering phones, managing plan features and reviewing periodically to ensure the most cost-effective plan is in place
  • Development and expansion of strategic and operational controlling with a focus on profitability, order, cash flow, investment and project controlling. Reporting of a profitability analysis by business segment
  • Monthly investigation and reporting, and continuous monitoring of, compliance with key financial metrics and key performance indicators
  • Control of the accounting system and ensuring the timely creation of accurate periodic financial statements according to accounting standards
  • Responsible for the coordination of budget and financial planning (annual budgets, mid-term forecasting, cash forecast)
  • Ensuring a professional order processing
  • Review and control of professional contract management (employees, customers, suppliers)
  • Control, maintenance and optimization of ERP and CRM systems
  • Continuous collaboration with auditors, tax advisers and legal advisers
  • Effective management of administration, order processing and human resources direct reports
  • Control of effective staff management, in particular with regard to human resources development
  • All other duties as assigned by your immediate supervisor

Requirements:

  • 4-5 years of experience in the field of Finance and HR
  • SAP experience
  • Good with Microsoft products such as Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience with 3rd party services such as ADP/Paychecks
