Our client is a European-based manufacturer specializing in product enhancement via printed transfer labels. The company supplies some of the world’s most recognized brands across multiple industries on a global basis.

The company is currently seeking a highly motivated, entrepreneurial Technical Sales Manager to grow existing accounts and develop new business in the Midwest and West Coast USA/Western Canada territories.

Responsibilities:

  • Work in an independent and goal-oriented manner to drive sales revenues for the company within the sales territory
  • Develop and nurture positive, long-term relationships with existing customer base
  • Proactively acquire new customers and projects via trade shows, direct outreach and other avenues
  • Advise customers on product applications and technical matters
  • Negotiate pricing and business terms for customer contracts in consultation with HQ in Europe
  • Create reports for the Head of Sales regarding ongoing sales activities and market developments
  • Organize your own meetings and travel arrangements throughout territory

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in B2B Outside Sales
  • Experience with or interest in technical product applications, preferably within a similar industry
  • Automotive industry experience is preferred
  • Located within (or willingness to relocate to) the designated territory
  • Technical aptitude
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to travel within the designated territory, as well as to Headquarters in Europe once per year
  • Assertive personality with excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Strong decision-making and negotiating abilities
  • Highly self-motivated and proactive
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
