Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing of service visits
  • Resource planning: Scheduling of field service engineers in cooperation with headquarters
  • Provide phone support to customers and FSE
  • Increase sales opportunities by identifying untapped customer needs, highlighting product enhancements and industry developments
  • Maximize customer satisfaction by working closely with customer contacts and developing relationships
  • Represent Centrotherm in a professional manner and provide effective and professional communication to customers
  • Flexibility in travel for customer visits and on-site servicing in case of manpower shortage; travel will be mainly within North America, occasional travel to the headquarters in Germany will be necessary
  • Weekend Standby

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Background in Mechatronics, Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Electronics
  • Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in servicing semi-conductor machinery
  • Positive attitude and ability to work independently while still acting as a team-player
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong rapport with clients
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Flexibility – able to quickly adapt to new situations, Creativity – able to think “outside the box”
  • Must be able to commit to several weeks of initial training in Germany as well as travel within North America for extended periods of time
  • Driver’s License is a plus
  • Experience in cooperation with German companies
