TH Bender, the leading American executive search company with German DNA, is looking for a German speaking Operations Manager.

Our Operations Manager plays a crucial role - multi-faceted and very international it touches multiple disciplines: operations, business development, research and communication. This position is heavily involved with all key aspects of our compact, yet high-performing and global group. Occasional work-from-home is possible.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Oversee our decentralized support staff (Washington, Chicago, Asia, Germany) to assure that our internal processes are being adhered to
  • Interface with clients and partners in Europe, Asia, Africa and America on the C-level both on the phone and by email
  • Support our active membership in the “Deutsch-Amerikanischer Business Roundtable (”
  • Coordinate and conduct research on macro- and micro-level in Europe and North America
  • Oversee, coordinate and review client and multiplier marketing campaigns
  • Maintain several websites using sophisticated Content Management Applications
  • Pro-actively conduct market research to support our business development
  • Participate as applicable in business networking events
  • Help with coordination of meetings with C-level contacts (esp. with German-speaking clients)
  • Interact closely with other leading German-American business organizations on joint programs
  • Help organize seminars and speaking engagements in Germany, Switzerland and Austria
  • Work on online marketing programs, including SEO, website development, ad campaigns
  • Work with our Customer Relationship Management system
  • Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written in both German and English, French, Dutch or Spanish a plus)
  • Solid understanding and appreciation of social media as a user
  • Comfortable with Content Management Systems, databases, IT, Windows, Mac
  • Undergraduate degree required; graduate degree preferred
  • Able to work in the USA without sponsorship or other limitations
  • Open to occasional travel
  • International mindset
