Job Description
NRW.Global Business (North America) LLC, is looking for a Regional Manager (contractor) for the Southeast of the US 5 years of experience in transatlantic FDI promotion and trade.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting market research to identify companies based in the Southeast of the US (prospecting) and qualify them based on pre-determined target criteria
  • Outreach to qualified companies via email and phone to determine interest level for transatlantic investments
  • Participation in industry events and trade shows to identify investment ready companies (limited travel is required)
  • Presenting potential investors across a wide range of industries (Automotive, Energy, Life Sciences, Logistics & Supply Chain, Manufacturing & Automation, Technology, Film & Entertainment, Food Processing, Aerospace, Agriculture, etc.) with the benefits of NRW as an investment location
  • Drafting presentations and other sales collateral to promote investments in NRW
  • Organizing and conducting investor seminars and conferences
  • Willingness to document outreach activities in CRM system
  • In addition, the Regional Manager will participate in meetings with individual US and Canadian businesses or business delegations, answer general investment and trade related inquiries, and support operational activities of NRW.Global Business, as required
  • First point of contact for NRW based companies with interest in expanding operations into the Southeast of the US including referrals to multipliers and service providers, market intelligence, business partner and sales support search etc.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years post-graduate work experience, preferably in sales or economic development related field
  • Proficiency in English a must, German preferred
  • Preferably industry expertise in key sectors mentioned above
  • Solid understanding of the US, Canadian and German markets and business cultures
  • Solid research skills (prospecting) and strong communication skills
  • Self-motivated, highly dedicated, with strong networking skills
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Focused on serving NRW.Global Business and its clients helping NRW.Global Business meet its performance targets, fostering flow of foreign direct investment to NRW

Employment Type and Compensation

  • Contractor
  • Fixed compensation based on experience
  • Commission component based on performance metrics
