Director Product Marketing & Training

Director Product Marketing & Training Reporting to the VP of Sales & Marketing, the Director of Product Marketing & Training will help drive financial results for Bauerfeind USA by managing the Bauerfeind branded medical product portfolio, marketing programs and product training activities targeting Health Care Professional (HCP) sales channels. This position will deploy products and programs through sales teams focusing on private practice, and government markets in the Durable Medical Equipment (DME) space. Internally, the position will collaborate with Art Director and Social Media functions to ensure company success. This role is the primary connection to the Bauerfeind Global Medical Product Management teams in Germany.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage BFUS HCP product portfolio with primary focus on Bauerfeind-branded Supports and Orthoses
  • Develop creative briefs for content/programs/campaigns for digital and traditional communication outlets to support Direct, Independent and Wholesale sales channels Develop on- and off-line communication tools to support launches of new products as well as other marketing initiatives
  • Track and monitor results from campaigns and marketing initiatives
  • Direct and coach the Bauerfeind USA training manager 0.5 FTE
  • Ensure that internal product training programs are continuously up-dated to reflect current assortment and priorities
  • Work closely with the Art Director and the Digital team to develop content based on customer profiles and needs
  • Communicate regularly with relevant global product management teams at Bauerfeind AG in Germany In cooperation with Marketing and Sales management, plan and execute Bauerfeind presence at relevant medical conferences, based on defined goals and budgets
  • Other project work as assigned
  • Assist executive management in achieving overall business goals and objectives

Requirements and Background:

  • 5-7 years’ experience of marketing coordination, training and/or product management in the medical device industry
  • Fluency with key MS applications, especially with PP, Excel, Word
  • Proven experience in successfully bringing new products to market
  • Significant experience in developing product marketing tactics (including integrated marketing campaigns)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong planning, analytical and execution skills
  • Fluency in both German and English would be a big plus
  • Good understanding of financial KPI’s, product reimbursement and pricing strategies
  • Desire to measure results of deployed activities
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented organization where everyone pitches in to help when needed
  • Proficiency with project management tools (incl. Jira or similar platforms)
  • BSc/BA in Marketing, Communications or equivalent
  • Available to travel (10-20%)
  • Experience in copywriting is a plus
  • Position is based in Midtown, Atlanta, GA
