Jaeger Spindles North America, Corp. is looking for a highly motivated Operations Assistant to join our team. Our ideal employee is flexible, up for a challenge, and a team player.

For further growth and continued success, the Operations Assistant will be given the opportunity to assist in all aspects of the sales cycle for the North American territory as well as contributing to the marketing efforts of Jäger worldwide. Furthermore, the candidate – under the supervision of the Operations Manager – will be assisting with administrative duties and strive for quality customer service. Jaeger Spindles is looking for a highly energetic and self-motivated candidate with an interest in technical products and a background in the German language. This is an ENTRY LEVEL position with room for growth.

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Contribute to the sales cycle from start to finish including generating quotes, order confirmations, delivery notes, invoices, and follow-ups with customers (ERP System)
  • Shipment of goods via UPS, FedEx, and other international shipment methods
  • Provide assistance with marketing efforts including:
    • o Trade show organization
    • o E-mail Marketing Campaigns
    • o Design of Marketing material
  • Assist with administrative duties including:
  • o Monthly expense reports
  • o Depositing of checks
  • o Answering phone
  • Candidate Profile

    • Experience with complex sales cycles is a plus
    • Willingness to learn new ERP system (in German)
    • SEO/ Google Analytics/Google Adwords experience is a plus
    • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
    • Comfortable working closely with mechanical engineering teams
    • Ability to correctly determine and identify the client’s needs in order to match the client with the appropriate contact person
    • Strong work ethic, self-motivated, persistent and able to work independently
    • Interest in learning about products to better provide customer service
    • Strong knowledge of English, German is a plus
    • Mechanically inclined with a natural curiosity
    • Experience working with cross functional teams
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
